Sagely Terms of Service
Effective date: June 10, 2026. These terms explain the rules that apply when you use Sagely.
These terms are an agreement between you and Sagely. By using Sagely, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Using Sagely
Sagely is a household meal scheduling app for recipes, scheduled meals, grocery lists, calendar sync, and cooking assistance. You may use Sagely only if you can form a binding agreement and only in compliance with these terms and applicable law.
You are responsible for the information you add to Sagely and for activity that occurs through your account. Keep your sign-in provider and devices secure.
Accounts and Households
You may need to sign in with a supported provider, such as Google or Apple, to use Sagely. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.
If you join or create a household, other household members may be able to view and edit shared household content such as recipes, scheduled meals, grocery lists, preferences, and collaboration activity.
Your Content
You keep ownership of recipes, images, notes, scheduled meals, grocery lists, chat messages, and other content you add to Sagely.
You grant Sagely permission to host, store, process, display, modify, and transmit your content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to add content to Sagely and that your content does not violate the rights of others or applicable law.
AI Features
Sagely may use AI features to import recipes, edit recipes, draft meals, answer cooking questions, transcribe voice requests, and generate recipe imagery.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing recipes, grocery lists, scheduled meals, cooking instructions, allergen information, nutrition information, and food safety guidance before relying on them.
Calendar and Third-Party Services
Sagely may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies.
If you connect a third-party service, you authorize Sagely to access and use information from that service only as needed to provide the connected feature.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Sagely, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, use the service to violate law or third-party rights, or upload malicious, illegal, or harmful content.
You may not use Sagely to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
Availability and Changes
Sagely may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms as the service changes.
If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, by email, or by another reasonable method. Your continued use of Sagely after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers
Sagely is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Sagely is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, legal, or professional advice service. You should make your own decisions and consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sagely and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sagely's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use Sagely in the 12 months before the claim or 100 dollars.
Termination
You may stop using Sagely at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we discontinue the service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, license, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions.
